MetMalaysia warns against open burning

THE Malaysian Meteorological Department has urged the public to cease open burning to minimise the risk of haze during the dry period.

Director-general Muhammad Helmi Abdullah told Kosmo! that the ongoing southwest monsoon is expected to bring hotter and drier days, with many areas experiencing reduced rainfall, until September.
